“L” for Life

From eating and reading to traveling and canoodling, I can’t help but think it’s all just a little silly—and a lot hilarious. I’m going to try to keep that in mind as I make that difficult transition from 30-is-the-new-20 to I-can-manage-my-own-finances grown-up.

Forbidden City, June 2013I hope my random adventures and failed (or successful) attempts at domestication and world travel are as amusing to you as they are to me—because I have no idea what I’m doing, and that’s okay.

I’m trying to read, I’m attempting to travel, I’m building up my credit like an adult (woo-hoo!) and figuring out the rest along the way, as I learn that people are crazy, Earth is beautiful, and communication is complicated.

I also have a personal blog with my man Boots (I know, right? That’s so serious) called Boots and Cat’s. Yes, “Boots” is really his (nick)name; he is not actually a dog, though he does act like one, as far as I act like a cat. Hence the name. You’ll see me repost things from from there when I think they’re worthy of a public read, rather than a private “awww,” because a healthy relationship is absolutely under the umbrella of this personal growth blog.
